Learning and Memory
Standardized housing enrichment, adaptable to experimental needs and including many modular options for complexity, activity, novelty, and well-being.
Rodents can be trained to use spatial cues to navigate a maze that tests their ability to remember specific locations. ViewPoint provides a specific VideoTrack add-on in order to give you typical results from this test.
Open Field is usually to used to analyze exploratory, stress and anxiety behavior but also to measure locomotor activity levels into the arena.
Light and dark test is based on the spontanous exploratory rodents behaviour into the black/dark close compartiment and the white/light open compartiment.
Conditioned Place Preference (CPP) is used to measure rodent behavior according to different floor textures, wall drawing.
The radial arm maze is used to measure spatial learning and memory in rodents
Morris water maze purpose is to evaluate spatial memory. Rodents is required to swim in the waer tank in order to find the submerged platform and escape the water.
