Controlling the light and sound matters for visual and auditive research. In order to replicate your protocol with the exact same parameters and environmental disruption, ViewPoin has conceptualized the first isolated chamber for zebrafish larvae.

Sound reduction for zebrafish larvae behavior analysis

The acoustic ZebraBox reduces environmental sounds. Depending on the frequency and volume, the isolated chamber reduces the environmental sound from 20 to 38 db.

The ZebraBox Acoustic includes the vibration module to trigger different frequency ranges (from 80 to 10 Khz) and observe the behavioral response.

The Isolation Chamber offers total environmental control of the experimental conditions.

An easy software module to control the experiment

We implemented an easy software module to program and control the vibrations time, duration, frequency, and parameter different edge or slope variations of each noise.

Supplied with a standard 30 FPS high resolution camera, it's up to you to upgrade your system with a faster camera (from 100 to 1000 FPS) and run startle response or Prepulse inhibition (PPI ) test and to monitor how the zebrafish reacts (C/S shape).
